2018 was full of promise earlier in the year. We hadn't raised enough money for treatments overseas but discovered Melbourne had a hidden gem, Dr Ben Dixon's and his amazing DaVinci robot. After 3 successful surgeries we moved to the PeterMac for pencil beam radiotherapy. After brief stay at home we moved back to Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne to continue immunotherapy. Unfortunatelately side effects and toxicity kept interrupting treatments. After months of pain and fevers here we are now battling more cancer, adrenal suppression, steroid induced diabetes and colitis. We are fund raising again for 2019 as we will have to be away from home again seeking new treatments and supporting her with supplements that have kept her alive.
